Violin Making
Here is a short film about the process of violin making. This film, which was a year and a half in the making, is an insight into the world of professional violin making. The process can be quite a solitary experience, which takes lots of concentration, skill and artistry.
The soundtrack is one of my instruments being played beautifully by Lorna Rough from the RSNO. The film was created by Michael Rae, a very gifted freelance film maker, who gave his time freely and showed patience throughout the making of the film.
