Antonio Stradivari Violin 1715 (ex Joachim)
Antonio Stradivari (1644 – 18 December 1737) was an Italian luthier and a crafter of string instruments such as violins, cellos, guitars, violas, and harps. Stradivari is generally considered the most significant and greatest artisan in this field. Only one other maker, Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù, commands a similar respect among violinists.
Antonio Stradivari Violin 1715
This model represents the larger type of violin produced by Stradivari. All the instruments known to have been built according to this model belong to the golden period which got underway after 1710.
It has a lovely one piece back with ribs and scroll to match, as does the original. A tremendous, powerful sound with a luscious ringing E string.
